NEW BRITAIN - Police arrested late Sunday two men in connection with the slaying of a 37-year-old man in the parking lot of a motorcycle club at 450 South Main St.
The victim Benny Jose Rosado, of Murray St., New Britain, was the victim who pointed a gun at others at close range and acting aggressively and raised the gun to fire, police said.
It appears the shooting was in self-defense, Chief James Wardwell said.
The man was found early Sunday with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of 450 South Main St. where the Untamed Ryderz motorcycle club meets. The man died a few hours later.
Jose Bauza-Negron, 34, of 449 Glen St., was arrested on charges of carrying a pistol without a permit, theft of a firearm, second-degree assault and tampering evidence.
Rejnaldo Cabon, 41, of 79 Elam St., was charged with possession of firearm by a felon, and carrying a pistol without a permit.
Neither has been charged with murder at this time, police said.
